Terms & Conditions

Once the booking fee is received by vanity tales makeup the client agrees to the following terms and conditions.


BOOKINGS

A non refundable booking fee will be taken at the time of the booking, which will then be taken off the final amount. No booking is secured until the payment has been made. The booking fee is required within 7 days after sending the payment details and information. Otherwise the date will be made available to others.

On the instance that any additional guests wish to add on the booking, kindly allow me at least two weeks notification. So that I can allocate extra time to cover the additional appointments.

 

TRIALS

Trial dates will be discussed if required. Bridal trials are a maximum of two hours for one bridal look. If an additional trial is required or you wish to try more than one look, this is chargeable at the same trial rate.

Trials are carried out at my working place and I’m based in a salon, perfect place for your wedding trial. If it’s difficult for you and your bridal party to get here, contact me to discuss further.

Trials might not be possible to schedule at the weekend, specially Saturdays.


ALLERGICS

It is clients responsibility to inform me any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products but not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. The client agrees to release me from any liability for allergic reactions during or after trial and on the wedding day.

I also have the right to refuse my services on anyone I deem to be a hygiene/health risk, for example cold sores/colds and any other contagious illnesses.


TRAVEL

Travel within 10 mile radius of LD3 is free. Any distance further this a travel fee of 50p per mile round trip will be charged.

Parking costs also chargeable to the client.


PAYMENTS

A non refundable total payment for the wedding is require three weeks before. All payments must be made by bank transfer. Details will be given for this when required.

All payments for additional guests should likewise be paid by the time frame mentioned before.

I, Masuma holds the right to refuse/cancel the booking if payments are not cleared by the given payment method within the given period.


CANCELLATIONS & POSTPONEMENTS

In an unavoidable situation where i needs to cancel the appointment, another artist will be recommended along with a full refund minus any trials cost.

If I am unavailable on your new date I am more than happy to help you find a replacement makeup artist. Booking fees in this situation are unfortunately non refundable and also applies to any work already carried out, for example your trial cost.

The customer must give around three week of prior notice in case of cancellation. If not the entire balance will be charged by the agreed time frame above. To note booking fees are non refundable. This is also applicable to any guests that choose to drop their makeup services inside the original booking.


ON THE DAY

Any changes of the makeup style on a wedding day, I prefer to know at least one to two weeks before. This will allow me to ensure that I will be able to maintain the time frame given and highest standards.

All services are to be carried out at your home address or chosen location, please provide a clean surface for me to set up my makeup and a well lit area.

I kindly request that no one smokes around myself or my makeup kit.

I may also take your photos at your trials and wedding day, please state that if you would not like any photos taken as they will be used for social media and portfolio.

By paying the booking fee, the client agrees that they have read and understand all the terms and conditions stated above.
